After a year of mucking around with my very lo-fi setup. My wife and I decided to switch working spaces in the house and I managed to get a proper room for my music gear. This allowed me to upgrade the stuff and lay it out nicely and not in some tiny nook.
So here’s the refreshed line-up!
A Zoom LiveTrak L-8 for mixing duties and it also does digital recording onto SD card.
Roland TR-08 drum machine
Roland T-8 drum machine (On loan!)
Korg Minilogue synthesizer
Blackstar Silverline guitar amp
Warwick Gnome cab bass guitar amp
Numerous guitar effects pedals which I won’t run through.. an Shure SM-57 mic, and I even got a digital sound level meter which displays the dB levels. I think its cool 🙂
So now I’m all setup to be able to record multi-track demos. Managed to do some test recordings and indeed put my knowledge of audio engineering to some use now. I guess you could say it was a childhood fascination with the music production process which finally has come to some fruition in my life, since I don’t work in the industry.
So now the fun begins!
