Chinese!

Je-in is a chip of the old block in the Mandarin dept. His teacher just dropped us a note that we need to encourage him on learning Mandarin as he seems to have a fear for it. I guess the enrichment class we added on top of the usual classes freaks him out. Its speech and drama, and I can imagine most of his peers would probably understand what the external teachers are saying but he probably can’t.

He doesn’t even tell us what he does in these sessions.

Can’t really blame him cos he lives with my parents on the weekdays and they don’t speak a word of it. Hence, my terrible outcome. So the cycle continues…

But L is trying to make up for lost time and taking the effort to coach him on reading and writing it on the weekends. Thank God for her.
