Ok I guess we’re done with the move.
The only outstanding item now is the window blinds which came in the wrong color for the rooms, so the vendor has to come over again when he has the stock imported from Korea.
Have been on leave the past 2 weeks and boy was it a packed schedule with contractors and furniture deliveries popping in daily for the final touches. Have finally gotten the paperwork of the old place settled too and handed over the keys to the agent at the second appointment at HDB. So its a clean slate in terms of this buy/sell deal.
There’s really a lot of logistics needed in terms of setting up a place in SG. Finally we’ve also managed to update our NRIC addresses at the neighborhood police post just down the road 🙂
Its a good thing most service providers like the banks and telcos have online address-change features. Didn’t have to send out too many mailers this time round compared to past moves, though i did need to get all the login credentials in order.
Finally, goodbye Blk 12 Holland Avenue. You’ve been a big part of my life. Hope the next owner re-models you to new heights.
