This year has totally been a Landings year for me. Finished the 10-week program in the early part of the year. Joined their Monday community sessions. Started playing guitar for the sessions and also revamped their website.
But the hardest task is to get up on stage to tell my faith story.
I did it twice before in Landings-related sessions, one to introduce the new run at the Our Lady of Perpetual Succor (OLPS) and one in support of a 3-part talk by Br. Nicholas Lye. These were smaller group sessions with about 50-70 folks attending.
But this past weekend, i challenged myself and volunteered to do this at mass. In support of a Christmas carnival project to also connect returning Catholics at St. Bernadette’s.
It was nerve-wrecking to say the least, in preparation but somehow just letting go and leaving it to the Lord helps.
So if you’re curious here’s my faith story.
If you know anyone who is contemplating to return to the Catholic Church after some time away or who is just looking for a faith experience. Feel free to send them to the website.
