A month has passed and the official confinement period is over. We had a nanny over for help and she was indeed a good help. Cooked well but she was just so-so with the baby, wouldn’t say she was an expert in baby issues 😛
Nonetheless any extra help was greatly appreciated. We started off only having her over for the day time on a 9-6 schedule. But extended her for alternate nights for a week after the initial month was up. I guess building up the trust was an important factor for us.
O well, we’re on our own now.. Do pray for us as we begin this new phase of being bumbling parents again!
