Landings just ended the retreat over the weekend and I felt exhausted but blessed to have been part of the support team. I saw this rainbow on my day of rest right after the retreat. I feel it’s an affirmation for the retreat and that everyone had a spirit-filled event. Thanks be to God.

Dark Skies
Managed to add a Korg Minilogue to my music setup and I started messing around with the built-in sequencer. I got my gal to give me some chords to work with and here's what we ended up with on a rainy May Day Thursday: Dark Skies. Take a listen here for Apple Music or Spotify. … Continue reading Dark Skies
Music Production
I did it! I've finally connected all the production dots to be able to publish my own song. It took quite awhile as obviously I have my family commitments, day job, church activities etc to occupy my tiny headspace. Take a listen here for Apple Music or Spotify. I've always had a dream ever since … Continue reading Music Production
Family God Moment
At evening mass yesterday, the wife and I were randomly asked do the offertory service. This meant walking up the aisle with the bread and wine to be consecrated by the priest. L's journey was documented … Continue reading Covid-19
Here we go again ..

Vinyls
I recently picked up on an old hobby idea I was always keen on, but kept holding back so as to de-clutter my life - vinyl record collection! Have always and will be a music fan, and when CDs came into the picture in the 90s, I actually gave away my small record collection of … Continue reading Vinyls
Mum’s Covid Episode
Mum tested positive a week back. She had already been coughing really badly for three days before the ART indicated the virus was present. I checked out the protocol from the MOH website and told her that she didn’t need go go see a doctor unless she was really ill or breathless. The government had … Continue reading Mum’s Covid Episode

Bible in a Year – 2021
Thanks to the wonderful Ascension Press team (and definitely aided by the Holy Spirit!) that put together the Bible in a Year podcast with Fr. Mike Schmitz this year, I’ve finally finished reading through the whole Bible for the first time in my life! As with most folks, at some point in our lives we … Continue reading Bible in a Year – 2021
