The year has gotten off to an interesting start in the office. A good buddy colleague will be leaving us, so there goes one lunch partner. 3 days later, our boss also quits. Then they also announce the dept. head is getting promoted to the next level with immediate effect. So i have lots of open job positions above and beside me.
This is the second time the dept. head role becomes empty after the incumbent comes in for 3 months. Someone remarked that’s how seriously the seniors treat the dept. Its just a parking lot of sorts for them.
Guess that will leave me in limbo for awhile.
Anyway, was never fond of the politicking, so everyone just bugger-off and leave me alone to do real work.
